Self-Care Live Workshop

February 12 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Trauma

Psychedelic Therapist Bruce Sanguin will facilitate a discussion with group exercises and Q&A on big T and little t traumas. Trauma has become a buzzword in the world of mental illness and gaining a deeper understanding of trauma and how it affects our own lives. This session will provide greater insight and compassion in order to facilitate effective psychedelic therapy.  A deeper understanding of trauma and how it affects our own lives and not just what clients are going through will provide greater insight and compassion leading to effectiveness in delivering psychedelic therapy.

Trauma isn’t always obvious and available for introspection in daily lives.  For many it’s as subtle as a childhood  survival mechanism of difficult or negative event that elicits subconscious implementation of a mental defense.  However so often, after the  threat of the event has dissipated, the mental defense mechanism remains intact and creates structures of limiting belief systems in our everyday adult lives.

What you will learn:

  • Childhood and  limiting beliefs
  • Dealing with discomforts and difficult experience
  • Psychedelic experience and trauma
