The College of Alberta Psychologists Released Draft for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Standards and Practice Guidelines

The College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) becomes the first professional healthcare regulatory body to provide guidelines to govern psychedelic-assisted therapy standards and practices.  Although this only affects psychologists practicing in Alberta, it is likely the other Alberta Colleges of healthcare professionals as well as governing colleges across Canada will likely follow suit using these guidelines as a reference. 

What can you as a healthcare provider expect in terms of regulations in your area?  Whether you practice in Canada or some parts of the United States (US), understanding regulations in or near your practice region and how to integrate psychedelic assisted therapy is important if this field interests you.
